Cookyn-with-Mervyn: May Meat Class

Is it possible to feel meat-ed out? After 2 weekends of Meat parties, I’m officially meat-ed out. Not that I ate a lot during the parties, but that’s just quite a lot of meat we handled in the past 2 weeks!

These parties are funny things. We get stressed out in the week with preparations, testing recipes and getting everything sorted out and in order, but when we’re actually conducting the party, we really enjoy ourselves so much. People are funny, we chat a lot and the vibe is just good all round. And after the last party-cipant leaves, we’re still talking for days about how the class went, what we enjoyed, what we could have improved etc. Love!

This class was fun. Everyone loves meat so a combination of 3 meats in 1 single class was a hit and we were sold out within a couple of days (bar a couple of late pull-outs!). I love how we have regulars (who know where and how everything goes, don’t even need prompting, they just plonk themselves down and do the necessary) and the newbies who always add a new dimension to the classes.
